Bailey Promoted to Director of Communications
June 15, 2009COLUMBIA, SC – June 15, 2009 – The Sisters of Charity Foundation of South Carolina is pleased to announce Brooke Bailey as its new director of communications. Bailey joined the Foundation three years ago as communications manager.
In addition to continuing her responsibilities planning and implementing communications strategies built upon the Foundation’s efforts in capacity building, grantee program sustainability and other strategic initiatives, she will work more in public policy and advocacy and help identify issues that impact poverty in South Carolina.
Apart from serving on various boards and committees in the community, Bailey is a 2007 Southeastern Council of Foundations Hull Fellow, which recognizes the Southeast’s next generation of philanthropic leaders. She holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of South Carolina.
