Barnes Alford Stork & Johnson, LLP announces new partners, Creasie Parrott Schlachter and Joshua G. Hill
February 6, 2026Barnes, Alford, Stork & Johnson, LLP announces that Creasie Parrott Schlachter and Joshua G. Hill have been named partners in the firm. The firm’s decision recognizes their exceptional contributions to the firm and dedication to delivering outstanding legal services to clients, both in and out of the courtroom.
Creasie Parrott Schlachter
Ms. Schlachter’s practice focuses on medical malpractice and healthcare related matters, where she represents clients in complex cases involving birth injuries, strokes, catastrophic injuries, and wrongful death claims. She also defends long-term care facilities and represents physicians and healthcare providers in professional licensure and disciplinary proceedings. She is licensed in both South Carolina and North Carolina. Prior to joining the firm, she attended the University of South Carolina School of Law where she was a member of the South Carolina Law Review and Mock Trial Bar. She was also awarded the Justice Lewis F. Powell, Jr. Medal for Excellence in Advocacy, the D. Reece Williams III Trial Advocacy Award, the Luther Lee Award, and the Sherod Eadon Award. After law school, Ms. Schlachter clerked for the Honorable William P. Keesley, where she gained invaluable insight into trial court practice.
Joshua G. Hill
Mr. Hill’s practice focuses on civil litigation with a focus on medical malpractice defense, representing various hospitals, nursing homes, physicians, and other medical providers. Mr. Hill graduated from the University of South Carolina Honors College with a B.A. in Accounting, and from the University of South Carolina School of Law. While in law school, Mr. Hill was a member of the South Carolina Law Review, the Order of the Wig and Robe, and the Order of the Coif. He also participated in the Kondurous Leadership Development Program and the Civil Litigation Capstone.
Both have been recognized as Super Lawyers Rising Stars and were selected for the 2025 Legal Elite issue of Columbia Business Magazine for several categories, including medical malpractice defense.
