Background on Harris Eckstrom
Harris Eckstrom currently serves as Chairman of the Board for the Better Business Bureau, a role he is honored to hold after serving on the board since 2019. He brings a people-first mindset, strong business experience, and a deep commitment to integrity and community service.

Harris is a 2011 graduate of the University of South Carolina, where he earned a degree in Accounting with a minor in Psychology. Immediately following graduation, he began his career with Carolina Business Equipment, a local, family-owned company. Over the years, he had the opportunity to grow alongside the organization, taking on roles that ranged from managing sales territories and leading sales teams to launching and running a new branch in a new geographic market. That experience shaped his leadership style and reinforced the value of ethical, relationship-driven business practices.

In 2024, Harris took the next step in his professional journey by moving into commercial finance with LEAF Commercial Capital. In his current role, he works remotely while supporting businesses across much of the Southeast, helping them access the financing solutions they need to grow and succeed.

Outside of his professional life, Harris is deeply involved in his community. He is active at Gateway Baptist Church, where he serves in the student ministry. He also has a strong passion for giving back to the recovery community—an area that is especially meaningful to him.

Harris is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys hunting during the fall and winter and saltwater fishing in the warmer months. He and his wife, Alannah, were married in 2017 and are raising two young daughters. They are also excited to be expecting their first son.

His involvement with the Better Business Bureau reflects his belief in building trust between businesses and consumers and strengthening the communities they serve.
