BIA members recognized by HBA of South Carolina awards

BIA MEMBERS ACHIEVE HIGH HONORS AT STATE CONVENTION
Home building industry professionals from the Building Industry Association of Central South Carolina were awarded the Home Builders Association of South Carolina’s most prestigious awards last week in Savannah, Georgia. The 2018 Celebration of Excellence awards ceremony was held to honor the craftsmanship of the best home building and remodelers in the Palmetto State. Approximately 27 Pinnacle Awards were given in four categories – new homes, remodel projects, green building, and sales & marketing.
Mike Satterfield, CEO/EVP of Great Southern Homes was honored with Thomas N. Bagnal Builder Member of the Year Award of the HBA of SC. The annual recognition honors those individuals who demonstrate the same qualities as the awards namesake, Thomas N. Bagnal including tireless service to their community, the Home Builders Association (HBA) and to the home building industry. Mike currently serves as president of the BIA of Central SC and has served the organization in numerous leadership and fund-raising capacities. Bagnal was a charter member of the HBA of Greater Columbia and the first President of the HBA of South Carolina.
