Big Air Laurens Celebrates One Year and “Innovator of the Year” Award with Big Fun, Big Numbers, and Bigger Ideas

Big Air Laurens is marking its first anniversary this weekend, August 15–17, with a celebration as big as the year it has had. Since opening its doors in August 2024, the family entertainment venue has welcomed more than 75,000 participants, reaching an estimated 150,000 total visitors when including family members and spectators.

In its first year, the park sold more than 15,800 ICEEs and saw 72% of its visitors walk in for the first time—proof that word is spreading well beyond Laurens County. Nearly half of sales came from guests outside the county, highlighting Big Air Laurens as both a local favorite and a regional draw.

Owner Jake Cooper says the past year has been a whirlwind of growth and innovation. In fact, Big Air Laurens was awarded the “Innovator of the Year” title within the franchise, thanks to a long list of firsts that debuted here:

• Birthday Limo service

• Bowling alley inside the venue

• Full commercial kitchen

• Axe throwing lanes

• Outdoor patio birthday room option

• Golf simulator

• Pool tables

• A full-size semi-truck displayed inside the building

• The first Big Air in the U.S. to use trampolines built by European manufacturer Akrobat

• The park’s first-ever ‘90s Adult Night, complete with music, décor, and themed fun

“We wanted Big Air Laurens to be more than just a trampoline park,” Cooper said. “Our goal was to create a one-of-a-kind entertainment space for families, friends, and groups to make lasting memories—and judging by this first year, we’ve done just that.”

The anniversary weekend features special membership deals and a nostalgic twist. Guests can take advantage of discounted memberships—including $100/month for a family of up to six that now includes bowling.

With so many milestones packed into just twelve months, Big Air Laurens shows no signs of slowing down. The venue plans to continue bringing new attractions and events to keep the energy high and the smiles big.
