Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Columbia Board Announces New President and Chief Executive Officer
August 27, 2014COLUMBIA, SC – The Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Columbia Board of Directors is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. J. Victor McGuire as the mentoring organization’s President and Chief Executive Officer, effective August 8, 2014.
Prior to joining Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Columbia, Dr. McGuire received his doctorate from Colorado State University. He was a university professor for 20 years before serving as President and Founder of the National Association For Beginning Teachers in Columbia, South Carolina. Most recently, Dr. McGuire held the position of Director of ESL, Program of Shanghai Oriental Ladder Bilingual School in Shanghai, China.
