Big South Tournament: Presbyterian Earns No. 3 Seed, Faces Radford at Home Wednesday Night
November 3, 2025The Presbyterian Blue Hose men’s soccer team, which is the third seed in the Big South Tournament, will host the sixth seed Radford Highlanders at Martin Stadium in the quarterfinals this Wednesday, November 5, at 7 p.m.
The six-team Big South Tournament begins Wednesday with two quarterfinal games. Fifth-seed USC Upstate plays at fourth-seed UNC Asheville in the other matchup.
Top-seed High Point, which won the Big South regular-season title, and second-seed Gardner-Webb earned byes into the semifinals. The winner of the USC Upstate/UNC Asheville game will play at High Point on Sunday, November 9, at 6 p.m., while the winner of the Presbyterian/Radford game will travel to Gardner-Webb for a 6 p.m. semifinal that same evening. The Big South Championship game will be played at the highest remaining seed on Saturday, November 15.
Presbyterian won the Big South Tournament title in 2017 and has advanced in the tournament five times in the past decade (2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2024). Last season, the Blue Hose defeated Winthrop 2–1 on the road to reach the semifinals.
Wednesday’s home game marks Presbyterian’s first time hosting a Big South Tournament match since the 2018 Championship game.
