ORANGEBURG, S.C. – South Carolina attorney Bill Connor will celebrate the grand opening of his new Orangeburg law offices and his 12-years of practice now under the name Bill Connor Law Firm LLC: The grand opening to be held Wed., Mar. 28.

The new firm also has a new motto, Connor says, “Fight the good fight, keep the faith,” modified from II Timothy 4:7 in the New Testament: The motto reflecting Connor’s commitment to his faith, even his near 30-years of service as a combat-infantry officer.

Connor says that under the new banner, he will continue providing his clients – primarily in the Midlands and the Lowcountry, across all of S.C., and throughout the southeast region – with the same thorough, tireless service they have received for well-over a decade. Bill Connor Law Firm is a full-service firm: Everything from personal injury to probate matters, family law, small business legal assistance, and military administrative defense.

“This is an exciting new venture in my career, and a great new expansion of our client services,” says Connor. “”I have always sought challenges in life, whether it be graduating from U.S. Army Ranger School or serving as an infantry officer in combat. This new firm is a brand-new adventure in which I am stepping out on faith in God’s grace for success. And I plan to follow the advice I have always given my three children: To succeed in life you must do two things; love God and never quit.”

Connor adds, “I want the firm to provide a Christian environment of integrity for both employees and clients as we pursue justice.”

In addition to his 12 years as a practicing attorney – having received “AV Preeminent,” the highest peer review rating from judges and fellow attorneys (achieving this at the six-year mark) – Connor has served for 28 years as an Army infantry officer; including 11-plus years regular U.S. Army service, five years in S.C. Army National Guard (including a 16-month mobilization to Afghanistan in which he served as the senior U.S. military advisor in Helmand Province), and the remaining service thus far in the U.S. Army Reserve.

Connor is a graduate of both The Citadel and the University of South Carolina School of Law, and he is slated to graduate from the U.S. Army War College in July 2018. He currently serves as the Emergency Preparedness Liaison Officer (EPLO) to South Carolina, which is the senior federal military representative to the state for U.S. ARMY NORTH. As EPLO, he assists the Palmetto State during times of man-made or natural disasters like Hurricanes Matthew and Irma.

Formerly of Horger and Connor LLC, also in Orangeburg, Connor’s new firm officially opened its doors for business, Feb. 13. The new Bill Connor Law Firm is located at 138 Centre Street in Orangeburg.
