Blair Cato Pickren Casterline collects 2,792 food items for Harvest Hope Food Bank
March 28, 2019The law firm of Blair Cato Pickren Casterline announced that it collected nearly 2,800 food items during its recent Harvest Hope Food Drive. Blair Cato employees were split into three competing teams in the Greenville and Columbia offices. The cumulative donations will help feed 1,413 people in the 20 central South Carolina counties Harvest Hope Food Bank serves.
“We promised to donate a canned good from each real estate closing during January and February. Buyers and sellers were able to sign a can, so they actually participated in each donation,” said Meredith McDowell, Marketing Coordinator at Blair Cato.
“I think the Food Drive is one of the best charity events in which our office has participated. While it was exciting to see everyone’s competitiveness and hear that our team won, it was even more exciting to see the huge stacks of food that our office was able to collect over a two-month period,” said Brandon Gregg, attorney at Blair Cato. “I look forward to Blair Cato making this an annual event that will continue to grow in future years.”
“I’m really proud of our firm’s efforts to give back to the community,” said Rex Casterline, Managing Partner at Blair Cato.
