October 31, 2016

The law firm of Blair Cato Pickren Casterline announced that it raised $15,000 for the South Carolina Military Family Care Association (SCMFCA) at the firm’s recent charity event. The annual event, hosted by Blair Cato, helps raise funds for struggling military families in South Carolina. The event was held at Spirit Communications Park, where 375 real estate agents, friends, and partners attended. The Jake Barley Band performed.

Earlier this year, Blair Cato received the REGAL award for Best Special Promotion for last year’s SCMFCA event. The firm’s recent event raised $5,000 more than last year.

“The funds raised were stupendous and will be greatly appreciated by members of the armed forces and their families that the SCMFCA serves,” said retired Maj. Gen. Harry B. Burchstead.

Burchstead, along with retired Maj. Gen. Darwin Simpson, Brig. Gen. Roy McCarty, and Command Sgt. Maj. Russell A. Vickery, attended the event this year.
