Bluestein, Nichols, Thompson, and Delgado recognized as 2016 Top Tier Law Firm

November 2, 2015

COLUMBIA, SC – Bluestein, Nichols, Thompson, and Delgado (BNTD) has been named a Tier 1 law firm by U.S. News – Best Lawyers® publication, “Best Law Firms” in its metropolitan rankings. Firms included in the 2016 “Best Law Firms” are recognized for professional excellence with persistently impressive ratings from clients and peers.

BNTD was recognized as a 2016 Tier 1 law firm in three practice areas:

  • Appellate Practice
  • Criminal Defense: White-Collar
  • Workers’ Compensation Law: Claimants

The firm was also recognized in the area of Criminal Defense: Non-White Collar.

“Being recognized by our peers is an honor,” said Marti Bluestein, founding partner of BNTD. “It is a proud moment for all of us here at BNTD to receive Tier 1 rankings again this year.”

BNTD has been honored in “Best Law Firms” publications since 2010. The “Best Law Firms” rankings are the result of an evaluation of firms whose individual attorneys have been honored as Best Lawyers. Receiving a tier designation reflects the high level of respect a firm has earned among other leading lawyers and clients in the same communities and the same practice areas for their abilities, their professionalism and their integrity.

In the Columbia Metropolitan edition of Best Lawyers 2016, Marti Bluestein was selected as Claimants Workers’ Compensation Lawyer of the Year and John Delgado was named White-Collar Criminal Defense Lawyer of the Year. John Nichols and Allison Sullivan, also partners in the firm, were named Best Lawyers in the same edition.
