BMW Charity Pro-Am presented by TD SYNNEX announces new venue partnership with the Country Club of Spartanburg
November 17, 2025
The BMW Charity Pro-Am presented by TD SYNNEX announced a dynamic new chapter in the tournament’s legacy with the Country Club of Spartanburg now being one of its two official host courses, joining Thornblade Club in Greer, S.C., for the 2026 tournament.
After a successful partnership with the Carolina Country Club, the joint decision was made by the Korn Ferry Tour and the South Carolina Charities, Inc. (SCCI) Board to transition to the Country Club of Spartanburg as its second course. The Carolina Country Club has been the second host course of the BMW Charity Pro-Am presented by TD SYNNEX for the past four years, as well as during the years of 2008 – 2011. This decision underscores a shared commitment to diversifying the tournament experience and providing the most competitive and engaging atmosphere for all involved. Both organizations view this as an exciting next step that will strengthen the tournament’s presence in Spartanburg and continue to build on its rich tradition of excellence, philanthropy, and community engagement.
“Our sincerest thanks go to the Carolina Country Club team for the role they’ve played in helping us get to where we are today,” said Bob Stegner, President of South Carolina Charities, Inc. Board. “As we look to evolve the event for players, celebrities, and spectators alike, we are incredibly grateful for this next phase of growth at the Country Club of Spartanburg and the opportunity for the tournament to stay in Spartanburg.”
The transition to the Country Club of Spartanburg is part of a strategic effort to continually enhance the competitive environment, enriching the overall experience and deepening the connection with the Spartanburg community. With its recently completed multi-million-dollar renovation, including the complete redesign of three holes, upgraded playing surfaces, and refreshed amenities, the Country Club of Spartanburg offers an ideal blend of historic charm and modern excellence.
“We couldn’t be more thrilled to welcome the BMW Charity Pro-Am presented by TD SYNNEX to the Country Club of Spartanburg,” said Ben Pasquith, General Manager and COO of the Country Club of Spartanburg. “Hosting an event of this caliber is an incredible honor, and we’re thrilled to partner with the Korn Ferry Tour and the SCCI Board to make this the most memorable and successful year yet. Our recent renovations have positioned us to deliver a premier experience for players, spectators, and the entire Upstate community.”
As the tournament enters this next phase, the SCCI Board, tournament officials, and the Korn Ferry Tour remain committed to delivering a memorable, competitive, and impactful experience, both on and off the course, while continuing to raise vital support for charitable causes throughout the Upstate.
The 2026 BMW Charity Pro-Am presented by TD SYNNEX will take place June 4th – June 7th. More details regarding player announcements, community activations, and ticket information will be shared in the coming months.

The lowest 65 pros (and ties) will play on Saturday and Sunday at Thornblade Club.
The 2026 tournament will take place June 4-7, 2026. The tournament draws an estimated 45,000 spectators, 35 percent of attendees at the event are visitors and 25% of those visitors stay in local overnight accommodations.
The 2024 economic impact study provided by Visit Greenville SC estimated that the tournament yielded more than $8.5 million in total impact for the region.
