Bobbitt Completes New Building for McDaniel Paint & Body Shop

ELGIN, SC – October 10, 2013 – Bobbitt Design Build recently completed a new 4,875-square-foot addition for McDaniel Paint & Body Shop, located on Spears Creek Court in Elgin.
The structure is an addition to the existing paint and body shop and doubles the amount of customers that can be serviced. New building features include a state-of-the-art paint booth and frame modification/repair machine.
For this project, Bobbitt was tasked to work within the confines of the existing property. This meant designing the site to accommodate the new structure, modifying the existing parking area to meet the zoning ordinance, and upgrading the existing detention basin to handle runoff produced by the addition.
The existing shop was not able to handle our work load that we’ve been able to generate through relationships with insurance agencies and the general public, said owner Minto McDaniel. We’re very excited about the additional space and having the capacity now to serve more customers.
