BOGARI Furniture is celebrating its 15th year anniversary

BOGARI, a European Contemporary Furniture Store first opened its doors in 2004 by Ivet and Lyudmil Ivanova. After graduating with a master’s degree in finance and years of interior design experience in Europe, the couple moved to the upstate from Bulgaria in 1997. Ivet noticed there was an absence of high-end Euro-style contemporary furniture in the upstate and was determined to bring this unique style to her new home. BOGARI celebrated its 15th Anniversary in their new 15,000 square foot showroom off Woodruff Road, but the celebration has lasted all year. With a wide selection of residential and commercial decor from over 40 different eco-friendly vendors from multiple European countries, including Italy, Denmark, Germany, Sweden, and Norway.
While BOGARI does offer a few selections from Canadian and American based companies, the purpose is to educate customers on the importance of European manufacturers because “their products are free of harmful materials, such as fire retardants or chemical-laden foam” Ivet explains when asked why the emphasis on majority European furniture, “European companies have to meet very high safety and environmental standards.”
“We felt our store would fill a unique niche in the community”. Ivet said when asked about BOGARI’s place in the upstate. “We have experienced steady growth, especially as trends move toward contemporary design.”
In the next few months, BOGARI will be having multiple different sales. On Black Friday they will have multiple promotions for different vendors. Everything will be on sale and BOGARI is going to pay your sales tax for you! At the end of November, they will start their Charity promotion with one of their main vendors. BOGARI will offer up to $400 off on Stressless recliners with a $50 customer donation to the Children’s Hospital.
