Bohn, Choi and Simpson are newest additions to the RBC Heritage Field
April 7, 2016Jason Bohn, KJ Choi and Webb Simpson have committed to the 48th annual RBC Heritage Presented by Boeing. South Carolina’s only PGA TOUR event is taking place April 11-17, 2016 over the famed Harbour Town Golf Links.
Jason Day, Ernie Els, Branden Grace, Bill Haas, Zach Johnson, Matt Kuchar, Davis Love III, Graeme McDowell and Brandt Snedeker are also slated to compete over the famed Harbour Town Golf Links.
Bohn is making his first start since suffering a heart attack after completing his second round at the Honda Classic. Doctors placed a stent in one of his arteries that was 90 percent blocked. The 42-year-old has earned two victories on the PGA TOUR and will be making his 11th start at Harbour Town.
Choi has won eight times on the PGA TOUR. The South Korean native also has earned nine International victories. He has carded two top five finishes this season and will be making his sixth start at the Harbour Town Golf Links.
Simpson has earned four wins on the PGA TOUR. The Wake Forest grad and Charlotte, North Carolina resident will be making his seventh start at the RBC Heritage. His best finish at Harbour Town was in 2013, when he lost on the first play-off hole to Graeme McDowell to earn second place.
