New Facility Expands Health Care Access in Five Forks Area
Bon Secours St. Francis Health System is opening its newest care site in Five Forks. Located at 2814 Woodruff Road, the health system’s second freestanding emergency department is set to open March 5, 2026.
“Access to care is one of the most important factors in keeping our community healthy,” said Matt Caldwell, president of Bon Secours St. Francis Health System. “As Greenville County continues to grow, we’re committed to meeting people where they are and bringing high-quality emergency care closer to home so families don’t have to travel far during critical moments.”

The new Five Forks facility represents another step in living out that mission through compassionate, accessible, high‑quality care.
The 12,500-square-foot emergency department features nine exam rooms, including a dedicated trauma room, along with on-site CT and X-ray imaging. Patients will have 24-hour access to advanced technology and board-certified emergency medicine physicians trained to provide immediate care for a wide range of emergency medical needs.
“This facility offers the same level of emergency expertise and clinical excellence patients expect from our hospital-based emergency departments,” Caldwell added. “It’s about combining convenience with quality and ensuring that wherever someone enters our system, they receive exceptional care.”
To celebrate this new addition to the community, Bon Secours hosted a Ribbon Cutting and Blessing on Feb. 25 and will open the facility to the public for an Open House on Saturday, Feb. 27, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The public event will feature tours, refreshments, basic CPR training and more!
