Bon Secours offering free flu vaccines to the community

With the goal of making flu shots accessible throughout the community, Bon Secours is hosting a series of flu vaccine clinics over the next few weeks for adults, ages 18 to 64.Â
Flu vaccines have been shown to prevents millions of illnesses and flu-related doctor’s visits each year.Â
The upcoming flu clinics will be held:
Wednesday, October 1st
9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Triune Mercy Center, 222 Rutherford Street, Greenville
Friday, October 3rd
4 p.m. – 6 p.m.
Sterling Community Center, 113 Minus Street, Greenville
Saturday, October 18th
2 p.m. – Until Supplies Last
St. Sebastian Catholic Church, 2300 Old Buncombe Road, Greenville
The flu vaccine will be offered for free on a first-come, first-serve basis. You must be at least 18 to participate. High-dose vaccines for those over the age of 65 will not be available at these clinics. All participants are encouraged to wear a mask and follow social distancing protocols.Â
