Bon Secours St. Francis Health System Welcomes New Leader of Media and Community Relations

GREENVILLE, SC – Trana Pittam has joined Bon Secours St. Francis, and will oversee Media and Community Relations for the health system.
Previously, Pittam served as Manager of Corporate Communications for Parkland Health & Hospital System in Dallas, Texas where she helped guide media relations for the region’s only Level I trauma center, one of the largest civilian burn units in the nation and the busiest labor and delivery department in the country. Under Pit-tam’s leadership as editor and lead writer for internal and external communication publications, Parkland received multiple awards for excellence in medical marketing.

Pittam’s most recent experience was as Senior Manager of Publicity for Universal Studios Hollywood, overseeing the online and international public relations effort for the launch of multiple multi-million dollar attractions, as well as red carpet and special seasonal events at the iconic Los Angeles destination.
Her career began as a general assignments reporter for a network affiliate in Lubbock, Texas. Pittam holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from Texas Tech University.
