Bon Secours to host free community breast health event
September 9, 2025Bon Secours St. Francis Cancer Center invites the Greenville community to a special breast health and wellness event on Friday, October 10, 2025, at Long Branch Baptist Church, located at 28 Bolt Street, Greenville, SC 29605.
This free event is designed to empower, educate, and support individuals in their breast health journey – whether currently facing cancer, a survivor, caregiver, or simply wanting to learn more. Attendees will hear from a team of Bon Secours St. Francis healthcare professionals, including:
- Dr. Anuja Kamat, a St. Francis Cancer Center oncologist, who will open the event with a welcome and invocation.
- Eva Steinbach, a certified genetics counselor, offering insights on hereditary cancer risks and how to manage them
- The St. Francis Breast Navigation Team, providing insights on navigating a cancer diagnosis and treatment path.
- Dawn Modzel, a physical therapist certified in lymphedema treatment, who will speak on maintaining strength, mobility, and wellness during and after treatment.
A complimentary lunch will be provided. Space is limited so it’s important to register for the event in advance.
