Bosch Rexroth Selects O’Neal for Plant Expansion

January 10, 2012

GREENVILLE, SC – January 10, 2012 – O’Neal, Inc., a Greenville-based integrated design and construction firm, announced today that it was awarded a design and construction contract by Bosch Rexroth for the expansion of its Fountain Inn operations.

“We are pleased to be working with Bosch Rexroth on the expansion of their manufacturing campus,” said Shane Bolding, O’Neal vice president and leader of the firm’s industrial manufacturing strategic business unit.

Design and planning have already begun on the $80 million project, which is located at 100 Southchase Blvd. in Fountain Inn. Bosch Rexroth will create a manufacturing campus for its operations with the purchase of this recently vacated building.

According to Mike McCormick, Bosch Rexroth’s vice president and technical plant manager, Bosch Rexroth selected O’Neal because of their technical expertise and ability to provide an integrated solution.

Bosch Rexroth manufactures many types of hydraulic pumps and motors used in construction, agriculture, mining, material handling, and oil and gas exploration at its current facility. The company will be able to manufacture higher volumes and different types of products with the new expansion.
