Bret Whiting Joins First Citizens as Retail Sales Manager for Ridgeway Office

RIDGEWAY, SC – First Citizens announced that Bret Whiting has been selected to serve as Retail Sales Manager for the company’s Ridgeway branch. In his new role, Whiting will be responsible for introducing the bank’s products and services to prospective customers, providing customized financial solutions for current customers, and representing First Citizens in the community. He will be based at the bank’s Ridgeway office, located at 100 Palmer Street.
Whiting comes to First Citizens with more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, having served as a branch manager for SunTrust Bank, a financial center manager for Wachovia, now Wells Fargo, and a branch manager for National Bank of Washington.

Whiting holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of the District of Columbia. A native of Brooklyn, N.Y., Whiting currently resides in Hopkins, S.C.
