BRIGHT+CO scores big with Addy Awards for creative excellence, diversity marketing from American Advertising Federation

March 12, 2021

BRIGHT+CO Marketing was honored with nine American Advertising Awards for creative excellence within the Greenville advertising market. Called “Addys” and presented by the American Advertising Federation, these prestigious annual awards are judged through one of the advertising industry’s largest and most representative competitions. This year, BRIGHT+CO won two Gold and six silver awards for work done on behalf of Habitat for Humanity of Greenville County, Lowe’s Foods and Renewable Water Resources (ReWa). The agency was also honored with a Mosaic Award for Diversity for the “Now That I Have a Home” campaign for Habitat for Humanity.

“Creativity and vision matter, not just because they result in beautiful and evocative ads and content, but because establishing a visceral and emotional connection is critical to creating impact,” said BRIGHT+CO partner and creative director Andy Mendelsohn. “The campaigns for which we won these awards were built around humanity, accessibility and empathy, and we are thankful to our clients for giving us the opportunity to do great work and to AAF Greenville for recognizing the tie between creative vision and business results.”

With high-profile clients in Greenville and across the country, BRIGHT+CO has continued to grow and produce award-winning work through its highly tenured team and innovative business model that marries agility, exceptional quality, deep expertise, and strong business results.

“While we are certainly honored by these awards, it’s more about our mission than the accolades for us,” said BRIGHT+CO founder and chief executive officer Jennifer Sutton. “These awards are evidence of the magic that occurs when vision and solid strategy combine. That’s always been BRIGHT+CO’s sweet spot.”

BRIGHT+CO will move into the second tier of competition where local AAAward winners compete against winners from other local clubs in one of 15 district competitions, aiming for a spot on the national stage of the American Advertising Awards.
