Business Vitals to Open High-Tech, High-Security, Energy-Efficient Data Center in January

COLUMBIA, S.C., December 16, 2010 – Business Vitals, a leading national provider of managed information technology (IT) security and professional services,announced today that it has made a significant financial investment toestablish a high-tech, high-security information technology (IT) datacenter in downtown Columbia.

Scheduledto open in January 2011, the Business Vitals’ Tier IV data center, thefirst of its kind in South Carolina, will enable the company to providean unprecedented level of data security and accessibility to clients whoengage the company’s IT managed services outsourcing, and disasterprevention and recovery services.

Thedata center will occupy five thousand (5,000) square feet within theBusiness Vitals’ headquarters, located at 1401 Main Street. Constructionof the space, which will have the capacity to house over fifty thousandservers and five million gigabytes of data storage, in sevenstate-of-the-art, energy-efficient enclosures will be completed by theend of this year.
