C-4 Ministries Executive Director Mary Lynn Tollison to Retire After Four Years of Service

October 29, 2025

After four years of dedicated service, Executive Director, Mary Lynn Tollison, has announced her retirement from C-4 Ministries of Laurens County, formerly known as Family Promise of Laurens County, effective December 23.

During her tenure, Tollison’s leadership has left an enduring impact on the ministry and the families it serves. She developed a comprehensive case management system that has served 114 families—approximately 350 individuals—each year, ensuring that those facing homelessness and housing insecurity received personalized support and care.

Tollison was instrumental in securing the financial stability of the organization, successfully writing over $250,000 in grants to strengthen and expand C-4 Ministries’ programs. Her strategic vision guided the ministry through a major restructuring and rebranding process as it transitioned from Family Promise of Laurens County to C-4 Ministries of Laurens County.

Known for her passion, commitment, and deep sense of purpose, Tollison worked tirelessly to advocate for housing opportunities and community support for families in need across Laurens County. Beyond her administrative and advocacy roles, she served as a mentor and guide to many—both within the organization and throughout the community.

“Mary Lynn’s leadership has been nothing short of transformative,” said Norman Dover, Board Chair of C-4 Ministries of Laurens County. “Her compassion, vision, and tireless dedication have helped countless families find hope and stability. We are deeply grateful for her service and wish her all the best in her well-deserved retirement.”

Plans to celebrate Mary Lynn Tollison’s service and contributions to the ministry will be announced at a later date. The C-4 Ministries of Laurens County Board of Directors will soon begin the search for a new director.
