C. Dan Joyner, REALTORS® announces two brokers-in-charge honored with REALTOR® of the Year awards

Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices C. Dan Joyner, REALTORS® is delighted to announce that Fritzi Barbour and Matthew Thrift have each been named 2018 REALTOR® of the Year by the South Carolina REALTORS® and the Greater Greenville Association of REALTORS®, respectively.
Fritzi Barbour and Matthew Thrift
South Carolina REALTORS® announced the selection of Fritzi Barbour as the 2018 South Carolina REALTOR® of the Year at the Association’s Board of Directors meeting on October 17, 2018 in Columbia. Barbour, Broker-in-Charge of C. Dan Joyner, REALTORS® Pleasantburg Drive office, started her real estate career in Virginia in 1983. Since that time, Barbour has exhibited strong commitment to REALTOR® organizations, specifically issues related to Professional Standards and Multiple Listing Service Policy. She has served as President of both the South Carolina REALTORS® and the Greater Greenville Association of REALTORS®, in addition to many other elected and appointed positions within those organizations. She is currently serving as 2018 Law and Policy Liaison, an appointment of the current National Association of REALTORS® President. She was selected as the GGAR REALTOR® of the Year in 2010 and VPAR Salesperson of the Year in 1991, both meaningful awards in her career, as they were the result of peer selection.
At the Greater Greenville Association of REALTORS® luncheon held at the Poinsett Club on October 11, 2018, Mandy Chapman-Crain presented the 2018 GGAR REALTOR® of the Year award to Matthew Thrift, Broker-in-Charge of the company’s Simpsonville and Greer offices. Having started his real estate career in 2006, Thrift opened up his own brokerage in 2012, fully concentrating on REO properties. At the industry-level, Thrift has served on the MLS Committee for three years, one of which was served as committee Chairman. In addition, he has served on the Board of Directors for Greater Greenville Association of REALTORS® as Vice President in 2014 and President in 2015. Thrift joined Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices C. Dan Joyner, REALTORS® as a Broker-in-Charge in 2015.
