Marian Hagins Memorial Art Competition
The Lancaster County Council of the Arts is issuing a Call for Artists for the 2019 Marian Hagins Memorial Art Competition. This juried show is open to all Lancaster County artists, high school age and older. Cash prizes are awarded to nine winners, including the People’s Choice Award. Artists may submit up to two paintings which must be delivered to the LCCA, 201 W. Gay Street, August 28-30 during office hours. All paintings must be framed, ready to hang with screw eyes and wire, and identified on the back with the names of the artist, title, medium, and price. This community exhibit will be on display in the Springs House Galleries during September and October. The Artist Reception is Sunday, September 15, 2019 from 3 to 5:00 p.m. The Gallery Exhibit and Reception are free and open to the public and is sponsored by the Hagins Family, LCCA and the Lancaster County Art League.
