Cameron Blankenship joins the Capital City/Lake Murray Country Regional Tourism Board
November 9, 2023The Capital City/Lake Murray Country Regional Tourism Board announced that Cameron Blankenship has joined the team as Special Events Coordinator.
“We are excited to welcome Cameron to our team as our Special Events department continues to expand with dozens of added events coming to the region! We can’t wait to see the results of her creativity,” stated Miriam Atria, President/CEO, of Capital City/Lake Murray Country Regional Tourism.”
Blankenship graduated from Clemson University in May with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, a concentration on Entrepreneurship, and a minor in Communications. Blankenship is passionate about building relationships with local businesses and organizing events while fostering creativity and originality.
As a student, Blankenship was active in Clemson’s Women in Business as well as the Phi Sigma Pi National Honor Fraternity, where she served on finance and recruitment committees. She has worked as a Hotel Receptionist for Clemson University’s Conference Center & Inn, as a sales intern for M-RSI of Chapin, SC, and as an office intern at Farm Bureau Insurance of Irmo, SC.
