Camp Cole announces inaugural two-day Halloween fundraiser on October 28-29, 2021

October 13, 2021

Camp Cole announces its inaugural two-day Halloween event, Pumpkin Palooza and Spooky Spirits Bash, to engage with its local community and raise money for its future campers. The events are presented by US Brick.

Pumpkin Palooza is a public and community-wide outdoor event that will take place on Thursday, October 28 at Fawcett Farms, 10151 Garners Ferry Road in Eastover, SC (adjacent to Camp Cole) from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Guests will enjoy games and prizes, food trucks and fun-filled trick-or-treating.

Spooky Spirits Bash is a ticketed evening costume party and night of Halloween fun for adults aged 21 and over. The party will be held on Friday, October 29 from 7 to 11 p.m. at Junction 800 in the Vista. The event will feature music by The Ramblers and DJ Apollo, food by Southern Way Catering, drinks, raffles and a costume contest with a grand prize. Masks are encouraged for those not vaccinated.

Camp Cole opened its doors in June 2021 and served 510 campers in its inaugural summer camp season. Camp Cole serves children with craniofacial differences, Down syndrome, Tourette syndrome, heart and kidney disease, autism, cerebral palsy, cystic fibrosis or cancer, children experiencing homelessness and so many more life challenges.

Funds raised from the two-day event will ensure these world-class camp experiences can continue for years to come. In addition, funds go to support Camp Cole’s state-of-the-art medical care facility to tackle medically fragile populations that otherwise wouldn’t be able to experience the joys of camp.

Sponsors for the event are US Brick, Southeastern Freight Lines, Southern Way Catering, BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina, Valvoline, Midas Tires & Auto Service, NAPA Auto Parts, Colliers | South Carolina, Pout, Mid-Carolina Marine, Joye Roofing, Drew & Elyse Theodore, SpeeDee Oil & Auto Service, Lexington Medical, Inc., Guild Mortgage, Great Southern Homes, The Hobbs Group, O’Reilly Auto Parts, Thomas Marsh of State Farm, McNeel Properties, Rhodes Branding (Austin Rhodes), the Turner/Riley family, the deTreville family, the Kennette family, Haynesworth Sinkler Boyd, Stark Truss and Nicole Norris Design Studio.
