CAMS Danielle Smith earns Association Management Specialist Designation

Community Association Management Services (CAMS), a frontrunner in community association management throughout the Carolinas, is proud to announce that Danielle Smith, CMCA®, recently joined the elite group of community association managers who have earned the Association Management Specialist (AMS®) credential from Community Associations Institute (CAI). Smith is one of more than 6,000 managers worldwide who have earned this prestigious designation.
Smith is currently an assistant community manager in CAMS Charleston, SC, region. She has been in the community management industry since 2019 and joined the CAMS team in April 2021. In addition to earning her AMS, she possesses the Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA) designation, which she earned in December 2021.
“I am so appreciative of the opportunities for education and growth since joining CAMS,” said Smith of her achievement. “I’m fortunate to have had the support I needed to pass the test. CAMS is the best company I’ve worked for due to the positive environment, constant support, and training opportunities (which I love taking advantage of!). I’m looking forward to earning additional credentials in the future!”
To earn the AMS credential, managers must have at least two years of experience in community association management and complete advanced course work. In addition, they must have already earned the basic industry certification for managers—the Certified Manager of Community Associations credential. In addition, the AMS credential provides standards for association management that can give homeowners and boards confidence in their manager’s knowledge and ability to provide professional services.
