Candy Acanfora joins the Charleston Metro Chamber team

TheĀ Charleston Metro ChamberĀ announced Candy Acanfora as Executive Assistant and Project Coordinator to the President and CEO, Bryan Derreberry.

Before joining the Charleston Metro Chamber, Candy worked as the Senior Executive Assistant to the President and CEO of Roper St. Francis Healthcare for nine years. Throughout her career, she has remained service-oriented, gaining experience from a variety of industries including management and healthcare.

“We are very excited to have Candy join our team,” said Bryan Derreberry, Charleston Metro Chamber President and CEO. “Her impeccable organizational skills, friendly nature and considerable experience as a project coordinator and executive assistant will be extremely valuable and I look forward to seeing the great things she will accomplish in this role.”

Candy is a Charleston local, born and raised in West Ashley. She graduated from College of Charleston with a Bachelor of Science andĀ is an enthusiastic volunteer, participating in community activities with Trident United Way, Halos, Race for the Cure, Charleston County Recreational Department and many other area organizations. Candy continues to enjoy all that Charleston has to offer including the beaches, outdoors and spending time with her husband, Jon, son, Cohen, and her large extended family.
