Midlands Education and Business Alliance will host a Midlands regional Career Fair in Reverse for industries looking for talent in construction, manufacturing, automotive, STEM and other industrial technologies.
Career Fair in Reverse will showcase more than thirty career and technology programs designed to prepare student for careers in construction, automotive, manufacturing, industrial technologies and STEM. Students from nine school districts in the Midlands will showcase some of their premiere career and technology programs through demonstrations, hands-on activities, discussion and sharing of information on curriculum and credentials earned.
Unlike traditional career fairs, Career Fair in Reverse is an opportunity for industry to explore the many career and technology programs offered by Midlands school districts and determine programs may be beneficial to their organization’s workforce needs. This free event is a drop-in, scheduled from 10 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. The event will take place at Midlands Technical College, Harbison Campus, 7300 College Street, Irmo, SC 29063. Breakout sessions will begin at 11:00 a.m. and are scheduled to start every twenty minutes.
