Carl Cox Joins Central SC Habitat for Humanity

COLUMBIA, SC – Central South Carolina Habitat for Humanity announces that Carl Cox joins the organization as Development Director. Central SC Habitat for Humanity is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to finding a sustainable source of funding to fight poverty, housing and homelessness.

As development director, Cox will be responsible for identifying and cultivating donors and corporate sponsors, oversee marketing and communications and develop and maintain church relationships.

Cox graduated from Clemson University and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in secondary education. Most recently, Cox served as the interim development officer at United Way of Central Carolinas in Charlotte and before that, he was the district director of Boy Scouts of America, Old North State Council in Greensboro, N.C.

“It’s a particularly exciting time at Central SC Habitat,” says Cox. “We’re celebrating our 30th anniversary and I’m proud to work for an organization that has so much community support for our work in advocating and building affordable housing so that deserving families can have a place of their own to call home.”
