Carolina Family Services opens third Upstate location in Williamston

Carolina Family Services announced its expansion with a third location in Williamston. The new office, located at 402 W. Main Street, will host a “Let’s Taco-about Mental Health” grand opening networking event on Thursday, April 25 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., with an official ribbon cutting at 5:30 p.m. The event is free and open to the public and will feature refreshments and information regarding the services and resources Carolina Family Services offers.
The Williamston location will be open Wednesdays from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Thursdays from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. by appointment only. The hours of operation will expand to accommodate the growing needs of the community.
“We are excited to establish new roots in the Williamston area where we plan to continue our mission of providing the best family-based services,” said Jennifer Brooks, PhD, LPCS, Chief Executive Officer. “Our success can be attributed to not only our amazing team, but also to our ingrained belief that all families matter.”
Since opening in 2006 and operating out of a living room, Carolina Family Services (CFS) has evolved to offer a wide-range of mental health care services in both English and Spanish, catering to the diverse needs of the community across Greenville and Spartanburg counties. With the expansion into Anderson County, CFS will now be able to provide additional community support services, offer medication management, and provide therapy services through a partnership with the Anderson School District to further support the community’s needs.
CFS attributes its success to the dedication of its staff of over 50 individuals, known as “superheroes.” Their commitment has positively impacted the lives of more than 10,000 families over the past 18+ years. As CFS continues to grow, it remains steadfast in its mission to empower families and enhance the mental well-being of the communities it serves.
Carolina Family Services currently accepts all SC Medicaid Program plans, self-pay, and certain commercial plans.
