Carolina Nephrology Hires New Nurse Practitioner
May 13, 2015GREENVILLE, SC – Carolina Nephrology, a top provider for patient kidney care, is proud to welcome nurse practitioner John Sharkey to their team.
John Sharkey began practicing at Carolina Nephrology as a nurse practitioner after completing the Adult-Geriatric Nurse Practitioner Program and graduating from USC-Upstate with a Bachelor of Science degree.
Sharkey comes to Carolina Nephrology with fifteen years of experience working as a registered nurse. Starting at Greenville Memorial Hospital, Sharkey worked as the senior preceptor in the operating room. From there he transitioned to Cleveland Regional Center’s progressive care unit before returning to Greenville Memorial Hospital to work in coronary intervention and recovery.
Sharkey has been honored by the Cleveland Regional Medical Center Nursing Councils as a unit representative, served as the president of Greenville Technical College Student Nurses Association and is a member of American Association of Critical Care Nurses.
