CarolinaPower promotes Wyatt Gwyn to Industrial Operations Executive

CarolinaPower, a leading employee-owned, regional electrical contractor with four offices in South Carolina, has promoted Wyatt Gwyn to Industrial Operations Executive – a new position focused on supporting and growing CarolinaPower’s industrial sector across all business units. An experienced project manager in electrical contracting and electronic manufacturing, Gwyn has been with CarolinaPower for 18 years. He is based in the firm’s Columbia office.

In his new role as Industrial Operations Executive, Gwyn will support industrial project teams company-wide with his technical expertise, and champion enhanced industrial-specific technical and safety training within CarolinaPower. Equally important, Gwyn will focus on developing long-term partnerships with industrial facility owners, vendors and suppliers as CarolinaPower continues to implement its aggressive plan for growth throughout the Carolinas electrical service and construction community. He will also serve as a shared resource for CarolinaPower’s sister companies in the PPC family.

CarolinaPower’s industrial business consists primarily of medium-voltage work, manufacturing equipment installation and ongoing facilities service/maintenance agreements. The company’s project experience covers an array of industrial manufacturing facilities, including production facilities, manufacturing plants, distribution centers and warehouses, cold storage, process plants, clean facilities, research facilities, and data centers. Each industrial facility is different and has its own unique requirements.
