Cason Development Group adds Garrett Givens

Garrett Givens has joined Cason Development Group as Director of Finance & Project Manager. With a background in commercial banking, Givens will focus on evaluating and helping direct Cason Development Group’s fiscal function and performance, tracking finances for projects under development and working closely with lenders to procure project financing.

“We could not be more excited to have Garrett join our team. His years of experience will continue to allow us to improve, grow and expand by bringing value to all of the projects that we work on,” said Frank Cason, president of Cason Development Group.

Prior to joining Cason Development Group, Givens spent 11 years with South State Bank in Columbia. During his career he has worked in and with markets and borrowers throughout South Carolina.

Givens is graduate of Clemson University with both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in economics. He is an active member of First Presbyterian Church, where he currently serves as a deacon. When not in the office, he enjoys spending time on the golf course, with friends and with his wife Rebecca, and their two (soon to be three!) children.
