CBRE facilitates lease at Faber Executive Park to Charleston County Assessor’s Office

Charleston County Assessor’s office has leased 19,669 sq. ft. at 3875 Faber Place Drive in the North Charleston submarket. Previously at O.T. Wallace County Office Building at 101 Meeting Street on the Peninsula, Charleston County Assessor’s Office moved to a more central location with ease of access to the rest of Charleston County. CBRE’s Senior Associate, Chip Shealy, exclusively represented the landlord, Ava Faber Place, in the transaction.
The space became vacant in February 2017 when Boeing moved into its own facility in North Charleston, leaving behind a large floorplate on the entire first floor of 3875 Faber Place Drive. Located at Faber Executive Park, the three-story office building offers ample parking for employees, walking paths, picnic benches, ponds and daily food trucks.

According to CBRE’s Q2 2017 Charleston Office MarketView, large availabilities in the market are filled quickly due to high demand and limited space in the Charleston market. The North Charleston submarket experienced a recent surge in leasing activity and witnessed several large leases, which are difficult to accommodate downtown.
