Cedar Creek Park Named Outstanding 2008 Adopt-A-Highway Group of the Year For Lexington County

COLUMBIA, SC – April 28, 2009 – The South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) named Cedar Creek Park the 2008 Adopt-A-Highway Group of the Year for Lexington County.

SCDOT presented the award to the group at the Adopt-A-Highway awards ceremony on Thursday, April 9, 2009 at The Zone at the University of South Carolina’s Williams-Brice Stadium in Columbia.  The annual event is hosted by SCDOT to recognize the volunteer-citizen groups, coordinators and SCDOT employees for their participation in the Adopt-A-Highway program.
