Celebrate a spirited holiday season at Firefly Distillery

Shop for local goods, stocking stuffers during an Adopt And Shop holiday market

Firefly Distillery, South Carolina’s oldest working distillery, is celebrating its first holiday season at the brand new location in Park Circle with an Adopt and Shop event on Saturday, December 5 from 12 to 5 pm. In partnership with local dog rescue Southern Tails for Precious Paws, and animal shelter, Berkeley Animal Center, the event will feature local vendors for holiday shopping, adoptable dogs, dog supplies, and plenty of Firefly Spirits.

Local craft and dog supply vendors include Malted Mutts, Pink House Pups, Pet Wants Lowcountry, Summerlin South Wreaths, Southern Collective Co., Margerite & Motte, Oyster Candle Company, Charleston Craft and Canvas and more. Local food trucks, Lola’s Lumpia, Flight, and Holy City Cupcakes will be serving up eats from 12 to 4 pm. Visitors can pick up holiday gifts for their two and four legged friends and Santa will be onsite for holiday dog photos from 1 to 4 pm. A portion of proceeds from the event will go to support Southern Tails for Precious Paws and Berkeley Animal Center.

We get to host these events safely in our space and give back to worthy organizations in our community,” said Scott Newitt, co-owner of Firefly Distillery. “Of course the holiday season isn’t complete without some new spirits and local products in our gift shop.”

In the spirit of the season, the distillery is also releasing its first ever moonshine sample packs perfect for stocking stuffers. A trio of Peach, Apple Pie and Firefly’s signature White Lightning Moonshine, the 50 mL jars offer a small taste with a big punch. Paired with a gift card to tour the distillery, the sample packs are a winning holiday gift.
