Celebrate Black History Month Early with Richland Library
January 16, 2020Richland Library is starting the celebration a little early. Please join us for Black History Month Fair 2020: The Jubilation Begins from 10:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., Saturday, January 25 at our Main location (1431 Assembly Street). The program is free and open to the public.
Drop in and explore the history, contributions and culture of African Americans. Our staff is planning a number of activities and displays, which include:
- a musical performance from Benedict College Concert Choir health screenings
- a presentation from the National Society of Black Engineers
- African storytelling and drumming with The Healing Force
