Center for Community Services Announces Volunteer Community Work Day in Simpsonville

February 18, 2026

The Center for Community Services is inviting residents to roll up their sleeves and lend a helping hand during its upcoming Volunteer Community Work Day on Saturday, April 18, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Volunteers will work in and around the organization’s campus at 1102 Howard Drive, Building 7, helping to maintain the grounds and facilities so they remain welcoming and ready to serve neighbors in need. Tasks may include outdoor cleanup, organizing, and general beautification projects.

Organizers say the event is open to both longtime volunteers and those participating for the first time, making it an ideal opportunity for individuals, families, church groups, civic organizations, and businesses to give back locally.

“Our campus serves as a hub of support for many in our community,” organizers noted. “This work day helps ensure we can continue providing services in a clean, safe, and inviting environment.”

Anyone interested in volunteering is encouraged to save the date and contact Tammy at [email protected] for more information or to sign up. Additional details and reminders will be shared as the event approaches.

The Center for Community Services encourages community members to come out, make a difference, and be part of a morning dedicated to service, fellowship, and compassion.
