Jessica Agee, the current Center for Knowledge (CFK) and Center for Knowledge North (CFKN) Lead Teacher will begin the 2018-2019 school year with a new title. At a board meeting on Tuesday, April 10, 2018, Superintendent Dr. Baron R. Davis recommended and the Richland School District Two Board of Trustees approved Agee’s promotion to Director of CFK and CFKN. She replaces Dr. Jo Lane Hall who will retire at the end of June.

Agee is a proud Richland Two alumnus and graduate of Ridge View High School. She returned to the Richland Two family as a classroom teacher at CFK in 2008 and was promoted to lead teacher of both CFK and CFKN in 2013.

“Jessica’s story perfectly reflects our mission in Richland Two,” said Dr. Davis. “Here is someone whose passion for teaching and learning was ignited by her first grade teacher at Windsor Elementary School. Jessica then returns to us to help future generations of students find their purpose and pursue their paths.”

Agee received her Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education, as well as Master of Education degrees in Educational Leadership (2016) and Language and Literacy (2008) from the University of South Carolina. She is a participant in the SCASA Center for Executive Education Leadership Assistant Principal Development Series and a developer and facilitator for Leading Up, a leadership program open to all district employees regardless of position or title. She is a member of the Innovation Incubator Advisory Board and the Magnet Schools of America Certification Writing Team.

CFK is located on the campus of E.L. Wright Middle School. CFKN, a replication of CFK, is housed on the Muller Road Middle School campus. The accelerated and challenging curriculum is designed to create opportunities for students to become deep thinkers and problem solvers.
