Central Carolina Community Foundation accepting financial donations to the One SC Fund in preparation for Hurricane Florence relief efforts

Central Carolina Community Foundation is accepting financial donations to the One SC Fund at www.OneSCFund.org to support nonprofit organizations that are, and will be, responding to the needs of individuals affected by Hurricane Florence in South Carolina.

The One SC Fund, established by former Governor Nikki Haley after the 2015 Thousand Year Flood, helps South Carolinians who are recovering from state-declared emergencies. The fund provides grants to nonprofits that are providing relief, recovery, and/or rebuilding assistance to affected individuals and families. 100% of monies donated will go directly to help Hurricane Florence relief efforts.

How to Donate to the One SC Fund
Those wishing to contribute to the One SC Fund can do so in the following ways:

  • Online: Visit www.OneSCFund.org to make a donation with your credit card.
  • Mail: Send a check made payable to Central Carolina Community Foundation-One SC to:
    Central Carolina Community Foundation, 2711 Middleburg Drive, Suite 213, Columbia, SC
    29204.

We ask you to join them by making a donation – no matter the size.” says JoAnn Turnquist, president and CEO of Central Carolina Community Foundation.

Nonprofits providing relief, recovery, and/or rebuilding assistance can apply for a grant at www.yourfoundation.org/OneSCGrants. Individuals are not eligible to apply for a grant.

To date, the One SC Fund, has awarded $3,447,500 in grants to nonprofits that have provided relief and recovery assistance to over 19,600 individuals across our state and helped over 1,633 families return home.
