Charleston Allstate Agency to Sponsor Christmas Party for Callen-Lacey Center

CHARLESTON, SC – December 12, 2011 – For the second consecutive year, the Wally Burbage Allstate Agency will sponsor a Christmas party for the children of the Callen-Lacey Center for Children. The event will be held on Saturday, Dec. 17 at the Charleston Rifle Club’s bowling alley. 

The Callen-Lacey Center is an emergency center for abused and abandoned children ages newborn to 17. The Callen-Lacey Center for children is a not-for-profit center that is a part of the Carolina Youth Development Center.  On average, the children stay at the shelter for 60-90 days until a permanent placement can be found. 

Lunch will be provided by Gary Langevin, owner of La Fontana in West Ashley, and by John and Richard Ritter, owners of the Marina Variety Store Restaurant in downtown Charleston.
