Charleston Metro Chamber announces Diversity Leaders Certificate program

The Charleston Metro Chamber is pleased to announce their new Diversity Leaders Certificate program. This informative program is designed to equip business leaders with the necessary tools and resources to thrive in the diversity, equity and inclusion (DE&I) space. Through the Diversity Leaders Certificate Program, participants will gain a better understanding of how they can lead as an equity-centered leader and make a larger impact on our community.

“Being an equity-centered leader is critical to the success of your organization and our region,” said Adrian Cain, Senior Vice President of Leadership and Community Development for the Charleston Metro Chamber. “The Diversity Leaders Certificate Program will help leaders at all stages in their career understand the value of diversity, equity and inclusion and equip them with the tools, resources and information to make a difference.”

In six consecutive sessions supplemented by videos, regional leaders and guest speakers, participants will:

• Learn how to apply DE&I principles in everyday interactions with teams, customers and suppliers
• Understand how to make decisions that positively affect business goals and customer expectations
• Engage with community shareholders committed to DE&I
• Create a DE&I vision for your organization by learning practical strategies and tools
