October 1, 2015

CHARLESTON, SC – The Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce’s Political Action Committee (CMCC PAC) announces its endorsement to re-elect Bill Collins as Mayor for the Town of Summerville.

The CMCC PAC has a long-standing relationship with Mayor Collins and believes that he is the best candidate due to the numerous accomplishments he has achieved while being Mayor, all of which the Chamber supports. In the last four years, Mayor Collins has worked to improve infrastructure in Summerville, developed and adopted a growth management plan, expanded municipal services and developed a vision to ensure the Town’s main street area remains a vibrant part of the community.

“The CMCC PAC Board voted to endorse Mayor Collins for re-election, based on his proven record and his strong working relationship with the business community,” said David Hand, CMCC PAC Chair.

The CMCC PAC, established in September 2000 as the political arm of the Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce, is a non-partisan political action committee organized to support candidates at the local level who contribute to the region’s economic vitality and prosperity.
