Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce announces 2018 Leadership Discovery graduates
June 13, 2018Leadership Discovery, a leadership development program by the Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce, has announced this year’s graduates. The program is an innovative, team-based experience that allows members the opportunity to learn from experienced executives in the Charleston region.
“Leadership Discovery has allowed me the opportunity to network across industries and gain inspiration from proven leaders within our own community,” said Kevin Braitsch, Director of Villa Banquets, Kiawah Island Golf Resort. “I plan on taking the information and techniques I learned from our sessions into my own work place to assist in building a culture which promotes problem solving and employee buy in.”

Participants in Leadership Discovery received personalized DISC assessments by Jean Meeks-Koch, Ph.D., CEO and Founder of Positively People. During monthly sessions, they networked, attended a business etiquette dinner and honed their personal and professional skills. Additionally, five top leaders in our region shared their personal leadership stories, offered unique perspectives and answered questions.
