Charlie Benton has written a book! Selling on Main Street, What to Say and Do to Close More Sales is the culmination of a lifetime’s worth of notes from his experiences in direct sales, sales management and radio. In his own words, it’s all about “honest, straightforward, relationship selling.”

Since graduating from the University of South Carolina, Charlie has spent most of his professional career in broadcasting. He started in advertising sales in Columbia, SC before moving to Charlotte, NC, where he worked at News Talk 1110 WBT. Charlie’s sales background spans 35 years serving as Sales Manager with some of the nation’s top broadcast companies including Citadel, Cumulus & Jefferson Pilot. He was also morning show personality for Columbia’s long running and top rated radio morning show, “Good Morning Columbia” on News Talk 1320 WIS and 92.1 FM.
