Check out Gardening Equipment with a Richland Library Card

March 21, 2021

The official start to spring is almost here, and Richland Library is getting ready for the growing season by adding new equipment to our Library of Things.

There are plenty of options to cultivate your garden or yard, whether you’re a newcomer or an expert, including:

  • flower, vegetable and herb seed bundles
  • gardening tool and tote kit
  • hedge shears
  • pruning saw
  • electric leaf mulcher

You can access equipment from the Library of Things for free with your library card. Browse the entire collection, read borrowing guidelines, check availability and reserve equipment here: www.richlandlibrary.com/libraryofthings. Then make an appointment for pick-up through curbside service at our Main location (1431 Assembly Street).

Originally piloted in 2019, the Library of Things collection is curated to support local creatives, entrepreneurs and life-long learners in our community by reducing barriers and providing access to quality equipment. It’s made possible thanks to funding from the Google Impact Challenge and the Libraries Build Business grant.
