Cheralaine Doughtery named Senior Loan Officer at Carolina One Mortgage

Cheralaine Wieda Dougherty has been named a Senior Loan Officer with Carolina One Mortgage and has been assigned to the Mt. Pleasant Longpoint Road office of Carolina One Real Estate Services.
Born into a Navy family in Key West, FL, Dougherty relocated to Summerville in 1970. Ms. Dougherty graduated from Summerville High School and went on to receive a Business Degree in Marketing and Finance from the University of South Carolina.
No stranger to the Carolina One family, Dougherty worked in various capacities for the firm from 1978 to 1988 before commencing a 30-year career in both the mortgage industry and as a top-level business administrator. Prior to joining Carolina One Mortgage, Ms. Dougherty was the Executive Administrator for the Lowcountry Land Trust and the Parish Administrator for Christ Church in Mt. Pleasant.
A resident of Awendaw, SC, Dougherty and her husband John have two daughters, Natalie and Regan and they are members of Christ Church in Mt. Pleasant. Dougherty is a active Board member of East Cooper Meals on Wheels and spends her free time kayaking, reading and enjoying Charleston’s beautiful beaches.
